Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion prepares students to promote healthy lifestyles, prevent disease, and improve the well-being of individuals and communities through education and advocacy. The programme combines knowledge in public health, behavioural sciences, communication, and health policy with practical experience, equipping graduates to design, implement, and evaluate health promotion programmes that address current and emerging public health challenges.

Additional Info

Applicants must possess the Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) or its equivalent qualification. A strong background in science subjects is recommended.

Candidates should normally have:

  • Grade CC or better in Science Double Award or Grade C or better in Pure Sciences (C in Biology and C in Chemistry/Physics)
  • Grade C or better in Mathematics and Grade D or better in English Language.
  • Applicants holding a Diploma in any health care related course from an accredited health institution will also be considered.
